Hello, I own a Dell Precision M6800 Laptop. Old laptop I know, but recently I upgraded the GPU to a
Quadro P5000m MXM.

This laptop is EDP version and I had to flash a different vbios for the GPU from this website- https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/208556/208556 ) to make it run/recognized by this laptop.
Flashing was done using a CH341A Programmer on the MXM GPU itself.

The GPU is recognized and drivers install with no issues but I am facing two very weird issues.

1) When GPU is under load the GPU fan doesn't spin at all automatically and I have to manually start it using HWINFO program. Also the BIOS of the laptop says GPU Thermistor- n/a in Dell Diagnostics.

2) The other issue is if the GPU fan is not running and the GPU is under load, there is no microstuttering at all when playing games, though the temperature of GPU increases because cooling isn't provided.
The moment I turn on the GPU fan using HWINFO program to provide cooling to the GPU, games start stuttering and its a nightmare. I have no idea why is this happening. Did anyone else face this issue ?

TIA
