Question Subwoofer for Samsung HW-MS660

Hello. I recently bought a Samsung HW-MS660 soundbar for my TV. The sound quality is good, but I was thinking of buying a subwoofer for the setup. However I'm a complete newbie at this. Does the subwoofer have to be of the same brand as the soundbar? The obvious choice would be buying a Samsung SWA W-700 subwoofer. It's a little on the expensive side though - and it appears to be the only Samsung subwoofer available in these parts. I need something of decent quality that's also compatible with my soundbar. So I was hoping that it would be possible to buy another brand of subwoofer - a bit cheaper. Any thoughts?

If there is a SUB OUT jack in the soundbar, attach ANY self-powered SUB and ur done.

In the absence of a sub out jack, unfortunately, SB either comes with a Sub or without, and later add-on maybe difficult to impossible.
