Hello,
Everything was fine and i was getting constant 110-144fps on games without any single problem and yesterday after i installed farcry 5 and was playing it after 3-4 hours the game started to give me lag spikes and audio cut offs for 1-2 second and then were fixed again and it grow worst every more minute i played the amount of lag spike/audio cut off became more. i thought its farcry5's problem and restarted my pc but i had this problem now on all games rainbow six siege , pubg and ... . and even my windows experience got lagy and isn't smooth as it was before. i reinstalled graphics driver using DDU and installed latest version , restarted pc several times even shut it down for hours and still the same problem "after 20 minutes of playing i start to get sudden lag spike/fps drops with my audio cut off for about 1-2 seconds.
i didnt had this problem at all till yesterday on this windows.
i started having this problem on my previous windows and i reinstalled and it got fix until now.
what would it be from ? cpu temp and usage is like 80 temp and 100% usage in games but it was like this all the time and didnt have the problem. it is from my ssd ?
Please help me thx.

Solution
if temps, using good CPU coolers would push down the max temp to 65-75C
if performance, there should be no significant improvement gained unless the previous temps gave you stutters(sign of an aging/failing cpu). intel cpu threshold is usually at 90-95C, keeping it much safer at 15-25C lower than the limit is going to make your CPU last much much longer before it fails and starts giving problems.

i tried all the above and nothing changed have to reinstall my windows anyway.
aside from this problem does 6600k bottleneck my 1080ti ? or does my 2400mhz ram bottleneck my gpu performance ? my cpu is at 100% always in rainbow six siege playing on max out 1080p ultra settings.
does it mean if i get a 16 gb 3200-3000 mhz ram and 8700k - 7700k i get more out of my gpu ? thx !

Nah i dont get more than 68 degrees on 100% load at all.
Though my cpu is 85 degree on full load should i pick a decent air cooler ? How much would it make diffrence ?
