Hello all. My rig keeps shutting down / restarting whenever I try to play graphics-intensive games. Usually this happens after about 10 mins or so. The system is fairly new, having been built last December. My first thought was a PSU issue, but that doesn't really make sense, as all the components are only ~ 6 months old.
Here are my specs:
Intel Haswell i7 4790K 4.0Ghz CPU
Corsair Hydro Series H110 Liquid CPU Cooler Fan
Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H LGA 1150 ATX MB
Corsair (2x)8G DDR3 1866 MHZ Memory - Total 16GB
Samsung 24X DVD +/- RW Double Layer SATA
EVGA G-Force GTX 980 (superclocked) 4 GB DDR5
Corsair AX Series AX760 760W PSU
Corsair Graphite Series 730T Full Tower Atx Case
MS Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Could it be that I'm using too much wattage? (Or not enough?) Faulty wiring? Or maybe somehow my cooling system isn't up to snuff? Any help / suggestions are greatly appreciated!
