[SOLVED] Sudden stuttering in all games.

I booted up my PC today and i noticed that in all games, including CSGO, Minecraft and Fortnite, my fps was about the same, but i was getting severe fps drops, making the game unplayable. As far as i know no windows updates happened. I opened up task manager to see what was going on and it turned out that the game i was playing was sitting at around 100% cpu usage. This is expected with some games, but my fps never stuttered as much as it does now. My operating system (windows 10) also feels a bit less responsive.

Even in minecraft, my frames are stuttering, and my cpu is at 100% I also know that it is not a GPU problem for this reason.

Windows task manager reports 4 cores, 4 threads and it says 4.00 ghz when under load, so no problems here.

Any weird software you recently installed?

All i've installed are 2 games: CSGO and Super Smash Flash.

i've reset my pc and the problem seems to be fixed.
