So i built my gaming rig myself about 2 years ago now and its never had a real issue apart from recently...
Every time i play a new game i set up my preferred balance of graphic quality and fps so when i go back to a game i can just jump straight in and play. but last week i noticed that all the games i have gone back to have been running awful, frame rate in the 30s - 40s (when its usually above 100fps) and also my Frame time jumping up to the 100s. so i ran tests on 5 diff games that i play the most on with msi afterburner and it turns out that on all 5 games my CPU & GPU are all of a sudden using under 30% usage but yet there temps are still low, my GPU is always at around 50c and my CPU is between 40-50c so its not a overheating issue.
Honestly not sure what it could be, GPU driver is fully up to date as well
