Suddenly horrible tearing and stuttering

A month now I’ve been getting horrible tearing and stuttering, sometimes even with vsync on. It’s super annoying. Before I’ve played without vsync or fps cap or such stuff and I didn’t notice much at all. I haven’t changed any settings or hardware, what’s the cause? Could it be something wrong with my gpu that I have had for less than a year? It’s an Asus gtx 1060 6gb dual oc.
