ram: 12gb 1333mhz
graphics card: GTX 650 ti OC Asus
MOBO: PEGATRON 2AB5

so my problem is: i always play gta 5 en high settings 60 fps, sometimes i did had the issue: my pc will suddenly cap at 34 fps, it doesnt go higher. ill restart my pc and the bug was away. but now its just stuck! my cpu is idle at 25 degress celsius so thats not the problem, my GPU is idling at:27 degrees celsius, so not very hot. i OC'd my GPU by +145 mhz core clock, +50 memory clock, i overclocked it with MDI Afterburner 4.2.0 fan speed is wuite normal too. so idk whats going on please help me!

thing ive tried: lower settings to medium : no diffrence, changed resolution lower made a diffrence! but i ALWAYS have played on 60 fps 1080p now to get that i need to jump to 720p and that doesnt look good on my monitor (1080 Acer 24 inch)

im new so uhh. i have never used this before

Did you update anything recently?(Drivers). Monitor your CPU and GPU usage/temps while gaming. You can use Msi afterburner with riva tuner since you can have an OSD while gaming. Make sure that all of your drivers are up to date. Download malware bytes and check if there is any virus/malware in your system.

no malware temps gpu: 50 degrees cpu 60 degrees

You didn't say what is your cpu and gpu usage. While gaming, check in task manager if there is any process that is eating up your resources (CPU usage). Reset the core clock of the GPU and check.

[100% gpu] [40-60% cpu]

the performence thing i dont wanna check task manager right now im lazy XD maybe later

so maybe ive found the problem but i dont know how to fix it, my memory is clocked at 1333 mhz but CPU-Z says 665 mhz, i tried removing one of the sticks (so it is 8gb ram not 12) but that didnt fiz it i hope you can help me!!

In which RAM slots are the sticks plugged in? Make sure you are using Dual channel. Check your motherboard manual to check what are the best RAM dual slots. Example: Slot 1 (From CPU's side) and slot 3. Or slot 2 and 4.

oh yeh dual channel is like 665mhz 2x lol but still it ddnt fix anything

Sorry but i didn't get what you mean ? Check the RAM sticks in your motherbord and see if they are plugged in in the correct slots. Like they shouldn't be in slot 1-2 or 3-4. They should be in 1-3 or 2-4. If you want take a picture of your motherboard and post it here.

like i have 3 4 gb ram sticks and the most ram possible is 16 gigs unbuffered and there 4 slots i use 3

they have same speed same frequency and latency
here's a photo of my rig (its bad)
http://prntscr.com/dy796s
srry its in black and white the colors of the ram slots are blue and black

You are not running in a dual channel. Remove the 3rd stick. Plug the other 2 sticks in slot 1 and 3. I suggest you read your motherboard's manual to check if it is better than putting them in slots 2-4. If you want, put them in slots 2 and 4 now and check if it is running normally.

thx! ill check it in a few mins sounds go0d

so it worked again for a few days but now its glitching again im so mad

thx for everything!
im getting a new gpu, a gtx 760 2gb (Palit) and a new psu this weekend so thx for all the help you've helped me alot!!!
