Looking to upgrade mobo, CPU and RAM from the setup listed below. Will be used for 1080p 60 hz gaming.
Budget is $450-550. Looking for recommendations.

For strictly gaming, Intel has the slight edge over Ryzen, but Ryzen typically offers better "value".

For 1080p/60Hz gaming, you could go either way and barely notice a difference between either route.

I would go ahead and get an SSD since you will have to reinstall Windows when you swap the motherboard.
