Please do yourself a favor and do it now!

Don't worry I also have g2020 and it can handle modern titles pretty well. However 2GB ram is very very low mine has 8gb stick with a 2gb stick so I serious think you should upgrade your ram.As for Graphics card a rx550 or rx560 should do the job.

No not at all.
The g2020 scores at passmark benchmark 2769 that is way to low to play games, at GTA 5 you notice some serious stutter and low FPS.
Also there will be a HUGE bottleneck, mostly the GPU will be only 20% used and the CPU at 100% all the time.
Change that CPU and that RAM as fast as possible.
The RX550 is not worth the money even a GTX 650 TI is faster than this newer RX 550.
BUT the RX560 is pretty fast but its expensive and we still dont know the OP budget.

The real life performance of a processor cannot be judged by any benchmark tests,as in real life several factors influence it like how much game is optimized for a processor (Like consoles), even the ambient temperature play a crucial role.On G2020 I can easily play Gta5 paired with r7 240 over clocked to 950mhz on a minimum medium setting with smooth fps(35-40).
Rx550 being new will receive new games that are optimized for it.
So I don't think so that RX 550 is slower that gtx660ti.

That PSU is fine but what is your motherboard?
Are you gonna buy the parts that i suggest you or just your parts?

Go here:

As you can see GTX 650 TI is a litte bit faster than the RX550 but sometimes the RX 550 is faster.
The RX550 is not worth the money with that money you can buy a GTX 1050.
As you can see here:

A Core 2 Quad CPU from 2006 LGA 775 at 3GHZ is faster than a g2020 LGA 1151.
As you can see here:

It can even handle high/very high settings with a GTX 750 TI.
