suggest me for simple volume

Recently I have got WD 2tb wd20earx, but when i have connect to my PC & formatted NTFS Primary Partition after that i started copying in the drive at starting its gives me 90mb speed & suddenly the speed getting slower & slower It came to KBs, So i Have Formatted Once Again, this time have formatted simple volume, after that it gives me of 60 to 80 mb Speed

So my Qestion is that It is safe to use simple volume, Can i keep My data on simple volume

Simple volume is fine, that's just a regular, straightforward volume, the default volume type in Windows.
