Tier 2 would seem to be about right for a really good, but not extreme overclock of that i5. The Gigabyte Z97X-SLI starts at about $100 in the USA and most of the other boards in this tier come in under $130.

Look at the extra features that you might use M2, SLI, number of USB 3.0 and/or SATA 6, or networking ports, or even video in/out ports, to make the final decision. If you still are unsure, read the reviews.

At the moment, there are good deals on XFX PSUs. Good, well reviewed Tier 2.
