suggestion for a budget build..

well i have chosen a few parts for my build but i would just like to know how much long will it last and are there anything that can be changed without affecting the budget a lot

processor :
I5 4460 processor - 12900($192.56)
motherboard:
Gigabyte B85 Gaming mobo - 5300($79.12)
graphics card:
GTX 1060 6GB gpu - 21900($326.91)
drive: 900($13.43)
smps:
corsair vs 650w ($62.70)
Memory:
8GB Fury 1888mhz ram - 2700($40.30)
Hard disk:
1Tb - 3250($48.51)

Total = $763.53(Rs.51149.22)

The prices mentioned are according to the shop that i've visited.

i would buy a cabinet but not sure. so hows this build and could any improvements be done in this.

It's all compatible. I would at least try to get the newer Skylake cpu like i5 6500 with ddr4 RAM, but if not, those parts will do fine.


The only problem I see is that psu is not very reliable. I recommend a better one.

Dude isnt an i5 better than an i3 in this and yeah i suppose the gtx1060 6gb ddr5 outperforms the 970 :v

Buy from Indian retailers, don't do direct translation from USD directly as shipping prices and taxes are EXTREMELY poor, and it will likely end up costing you nearly 80k INR or more after shipping.
I just realised the buyers I use in India just got stock on the 1060 in yesterday, i'll update the list.

Actually the price is indian price and i have converted that to usd just to show how much it will cost in usd but just asked the price yesterday and it came around 52k

I have no experience in building a pc so might give it in a shop to build it, although many say its very easy to build 🙁

Here's a better value build which will perform the same, the ones which have no URL are from the parts shop you mentioned, that's a good price for a 4460, definitely worth it.

Upgrade to the 6GB you mentioned for the best deal.

I suggest you go with the build I listed above, subbing in the 1060 though.
The PSU you originally listed isn't very good. 🙁
If you want someone to build it for you, go to a local store and ask how much they charge, usually it won't be a significant amount.
