Suggestion for gaming wheel .

Hello,
I have never used any gaming wheel , so I have some doubts , first of all I have shortlisted thrustmaster RGT Clutch edition . Somewhere I have read it has PC compatibility but limited . I didn't get that.

1. Is it fully compatible with all PC and all Racing/arcade games ? ( I can customize and map keys and stuff ? )
2. I can disable the clutch right ? : P . Just asking if I don't want to get too immersive in a game .
3. Is it a good choice ? I don't want to spend more on it , so if in this budget ( 200 $ ), if you have any other suggest , please do .

If you can afford the G27 it's probably the way to go, otherwise there seem to be issues with the others probably because it's a fairly bulky device that doesn't have a huge demand to keep manufacturing costs down.
