Hi Guys,

A friend of mine asked me to build him a Gaming PC. I've picked various parts which I think fit best in our budget which is £740.
I would love to see some suggestions for improvements where it's possible by more experienced builders as this will be my first gaming build.

Here's the parts which I've picked:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor £147.60

Motherboard: MSI - B450-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard £88.99

Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory £113.99

Storage: Seagate - BarraCuda 1TB £29.39

GPU: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB AMP! £240.99

Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 ATX Mid Tower Case £50.39

PSU: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 550W 80+ Gold Certified £69.98

Total: £741.33

Note: He will re-use his SSD + OS from his old build. It's a Samsung 850 evo 500GB. Also he is happy with only 1TB HDD.

Thanks in advance!

It's a solid build what do you want? the only thing that would balance it out is more RAM, 16 would do and it would seem more balanced, I dont think you need 6GB vram for gaming with the 1060 but what do I know.
