Mobo: Asus z97-WS
CPU: Intel I7-4790k (Not overclocked)
RAM: 16gb of corsair dominator DDR3
GPU: Zotac Geforce 1080 AMP Extreme edition
For storage I have a 2tb HDD and a 250GB samsunug SSD
My computer isn't that dated yet but recently after getting Destiny 2 my CPU has been running very hot Typically under load it sits at around 69C but after long sessions it has gotten up to 89C. I've ordered some thermal paste I plan on applying to see if it fixes some of the issue. However with DDR4 RAM and all that I'm not sure where to start with the new motherboards and CPUs.
On a complete side note, My case fans have not been increasing in speed as my CPU goes under load. When I orginally built the computer they would get quite loud and annoying/ Except now they stay at quite a slow speed. Any suggestions?
