Hi all,
I currently have a Z77 i5 3570k desktop with a full size 1070 Strix card in a mid-size Coolermaster case. My monitor is a BenQ GW2470 24" 1080p. I play games at 1080p with most of the games at high to max detail with no intention to upgrade the monitor or the graphics card. Though the desktop is running fine, I would like to upgrade to a very minimalist mini-ITX setup retaining the graphics card.
Z77 is outdated (but still works fine for my usage) and anything in the lines of AMD 3600/3700 and a single PCI x16 chipset with wi-fi will do (no intention of SLI). The most important factor is the minimalism of the case. The smaller and more understated, the better it is (not a fan of RGB). In a nutshell, I would like my desk to draw focus to the monitor instead of the case standing tall beside it. Could you please help me in suggesting a good setup for such an intended mini-ITX build? Thanks a ton!
