I am using a Dell XPS 8700 Series running a graphic card of AMD Radeon R9 200 Series.

Computer Specs:
-Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
-Memory: 16384MB RAM
-AMD Radeon (TM) R9 200 Series
-Seagate Desktop HDD ST2000DM001 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
-Total Power: 460W Max

Can i have some suggestions for the relevant upgrades? I have used this computer for more than 2 years without any upgrades and I feel its time i upgraded this computer of mine.

The games i usually play are on 1080P (csgo/rust/Dying Light) and am looking to play Battlefield1 after upgrading.

Thanks for any help guys 😀

size, there are 120, 250, 500, and 1 tb versions

there are many people selling i guess, is this open market website?

just get the cheapest 250gb seller that is highly rated

yeah, you will need to get a sata-3 cable most likely
Your processor is fine, no need to upgrade there. Same with your memry.

An SSD would be a really nice addition, but won't improve gaming performance.

That leaves the GPU: Unfortunately R9 200 series doesn't tell us much. Except that it's an R9 280 at minimum. Find out exactly which model you have and we can give more information (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/HowtoidentifythemodelofanATIgraphicscard.aspx). A word of warning though, many upgrades would likely require a new power supply.

Yes just for an upgrade. I do not mind changing my power supply. But is the power supply the only thing to factor in when upgrading the graphic card? Btw i am using R9 270

pcie slot and power supply

before we can recommend anything state your max budget, also make and model of your case and current power supply

as long as you have sata 2 or better on your motherboard it is compatible

250gb has a great price right now

so according to the manual, currently i have SATA 0 & 1 occupied. So what i have to do now is plug a SSD into SATA 3? (no.14 in the manual) Btw what is the SSD powered by? do i have to have a power supply for that ?

look at your current hard drive, the ssd will need the same two cables

and yes, the power for it comes from the power supply which should have more than a single one
