Suggestions for cpu bottleneck

Hello,
Two months ago I purchased a ryzen 1400 with a msi b350m gaming pro mobo to run with at the time, a rx 470. I have just run into some luck, as my friend gave me a good deal on his gtx 1080 as he upgraded to sli 1080 ti.
I was curious if I should stick with my current Cpu and wait for the next gen of ryzen to release, or if I should just pick up a 1600/1700 on sale now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The main games I play are overwatch,cs, pubg, LOL, and rainbow 6 siege

if you gaming on 4k then you need better cpu if you going to gaming on 1080p you dont really need new cpu
