Suggestions for quality brand Radeon hd 5970 2gb

My r7 240 4gb is good for high vram gaming but has odd issues with SimCity 4 also only has one dvi port and no DisplayPort. I know a Radeon hd 5970 is older but I had one and loved it and regret selling trading it for this r7;(. I’m gonna get a new 5970 and keep the r7 as a backup. IM NOT LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS FOR NEWER OR BETTER CARDS just suggestions on a quality brand 5970. Dell or asus any good??? I’m looking at a dell now

You think a r7 240 is better than a HD 5970 and made for gaming?

Also the 4gb version of r7 240 is very bad because of the bottlenecking on the memory controller on it (DDR3)
The VRAM doesn't matter on that shit GPU.
HD 5970 has wider memory bus and more shader cores (320 cores vs 3200) its even 10 times more than the r7 240....
Altough the HD 5970 is a very power-hungry card as you need at least a 650W PSU with 50A on the +12V rail

ACTUALLY I’m agreeing with you 5970 Is waaaaay better hence me trading it for the r7.im basically saying I wanted it for the higher vram. But yeah 5970 good r7 240 baaaad!!i. Agree with you 100% any suggestions for a good brand 5970??? Dell good???
