Solution
You could always drop to a GTX 1050Ti, it will run 1080p on high settings, not maximum on some games, maybe lower on others.

This wont require another PSU upgrade, but I would still recommend it if you've had it for a while and its running fine.

You don't need the G2, you can get something like the Seasonic S12ii 520W PSU.

Okay, that's the first step, what sort of gaming do you do? 1080p, 720p? And do you play on playing up-to-date games in the near future.

Currently only want to play planet coaster on ultra but star citizen is looking ... well phenomenal really, 1080p, playing on a 42" LG tv at the moment.

Right, just for the future, you could probably get yourself a GTX 1060 6GB Card, it will run with your system easily, except I will need to know more about your PSU, do you know the exact make/model?

Well the case i bought came with it, Its a Coolermaster Elite 500w PSU

It does have a 6 Pin connection for the GPU, however after looking around the quality of this PSU seems to be lacking, so if you're not comfortable with that fact then you could always upgrade that too, if you get a good PSU, it will last you quite a while, this is normally backed up by a long Warranty, such as the EVGA 10 Year warranties with some G2 Units etc.

Right so the card i get is the GTX 1060 6GB Card, not a problem about £260 around about.
Then the PSU g2 750w is another £70 on top give or take, thats spot on thank you.

Wish i never bought this game, already down £120 on ram and in need of a new OS and £300 extra upgrades :pfff::lol:

Thank you for your help feardom, you're a star. 😍

If you preferred AMDs alternative to the 1060 you could go for the RX 480. 4gb one is going for around £200 and its a decent card. The 1060 is a better performing card however. Both cards will give you full 1080p gaming at ultra settings which would be a good upgrade for you if you move to any AAA titles

No worries, the 1050Ti come between the GTX 960 and GTX 970, and for cheaper, you will not be disappointed!
