I'm having trouble with my microsoft works suite. Every time I'm prompted to
insert one of the cd's(which are new) my computer(which is relatively new)
doesn't recognize them and I get error messages to check the drive even
though the cd is actually in it. I know the actual drive is working correctly
because other software cd's work in it. When I try to run the microsoft disks
manually from my computer I get the endless tutorial. Also, a lot of the
files in the setup folder on the cd can't be opened, they have that
unavailable icon(white paper with three dots with crease on corner). I've
tried to reinstall in add/remove programs but the cds still aren't
recognized. I know I need to do a complete install of the programs rather
than having it incomplete the way they came with the computer, but the cd's
are not working! Anyone that has suggestions or help, it would be greatly
appreciated.
