So I have been searching for a power supply to replace my current one.
I came across the Super Flower Leadex III, but I never bought from them before.

My question is, are they a good brand? is it safe for me to assume that they are a high quality brand with a power supply that would live with me for awhile? Also am taking the 850w version of that PSU.

Thank you in advance

EDIT: this is the website link of the PSU am thinking of buying, it's a local shop in my country.

Yes.

The PSU is of good quality though I noticed you didn't mention what you intend to use the PSU to power. i do however see sig space specs.

850W to power what exactly...? If you overprovision, you end up with headroom and you can retain the PSU for a longer period of time while still satisfying the power demands of your parts it's hooked up to.

You're advised to include specs to your build in your thread's body since sig space specs can and will change over time, rendering this thread and it's suggestions moot to the end user in the same boat as you're in now. Please include the specs to your build that you wish to power with the SuperFlower PSU in question/linked above.

One of the top three. Other two are Seasonic and Flextronics.

Btw, Super Flower, like Seasonic and Flextronics, are PSU OEMs (the ones who actually make the PSU), and not just PSU brands, like EVGA or Corsair.

Official specs: https://www.super-flower.com.tw/en/products/leadex-iii-gold-850w
Reputable review: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/super-flower-leadex-iii-850-w/

My 1st choice regarding PSUs is Seasonic. If no Seasonic is available, my 2nd choice is Super Flower.

So, Leadex III, while a bit old (released in 2019), is still good quality PSU. On-par to Seasonic Focus and Corsair RMx series.
I have 0 problems using Super Flower Leadex series PSU.

Ah sorry i forgot to mention my rig:

CPU: i7 12700k
Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32gb
Graphics Card: EVGA 2080TI Black edition gaming

Usually I would go for a higher power supply just incase i decide to upgrade in the near future or buy a new gpu etc. thats why i wanted to go with the 850W version

I would love to go for seasonic but the store am buying from doesn't have it and honestly buying from newegg/amazon will cost me pretty much double the price with shipping

Look at this https://hwbusters.com/best_picks/best-atxv3-pcie5-ready-psus-picks-hardware-busters/4/ and choose one. Seasonic is not even in the top 20. Don't no why it's someones first choice except when it's fanboyism.
Funny how things change.
Back in the 4790K days when I was building a lot of PC's the Seasonic G series was my go to.
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/R7V48d/seasonic-power-supply-ssr650rm

Had one in my 4790K system transferred it to my 10600K PC and just changed it out this year to a White RM850 2019 model that I have had sitting new in a box for 2 years.

EDIT To the OP the Leadex 3 is a good PSU no reason not to buy it. If you going to upgrade to a new card that needs a 16 pin for the card then I would be looking for a PSU with that connector instead of using a adapter.

When it comes to ALL ATX 3.0/3.1 PSUs compared, regardless the wattage capacity, Seasonic units are either the best, or 2nd and 3rd best,

Super Flower Leadex III is still a solid choice and would be what i'd go for no issues. 👍
Oh, don't mind the gabble of Seasonic hater.
