So when my PC starts up it takes a long time for it to even load the windows bar thing in, is it my hdd? my drivers? its a brand new hdd... so... any thoughts at all? is it the hardware or software?
Those might also help...another thing is to look in startup and make sure there aren't any unneeded programs. If comparing your rig to others, good probability they are using an SSD for the OS and primary apps. Your drive (older tech) will be much slower than an SSD and will probably take a full minute or two to boot into Win
1)Check the boot order, put the HDD at the top of the list.
2)Check the bios for settings like Intel fastboost.
3)Doing some maintenance on the drive can increase the boot up time. But if its slow before it even accesses windows then its possible that your system is having some issues booting normally. Check the boot up codes in the bottom right corner of your screen or reseat your RAM.

Not quite sure how to do that last one (Not reseat the ram.) but I tried everything else and it didnt seem to work, also its still kinda slow when you try to open google for the first time. Not sure whats wrong? is it the hard drive? should I get a SSD?
Got it, the list is plenty, is this a new install of Win 10 on the drive? Is Win up to date? Do you have the latest BIOS and mobo drivers from the mobos web site?

Yes it is a new installation of windows 10. hmmm, I'm not 100% sure, The drivers were really difficult for me to get, so I'm not 100% sure.. And I probably don't have the latest update of bios.

So would you suggest an ssd? also windows has been a black screen when i started my pc once or twice and i had to restart it to fix that but it was all fine.. Also is it just this HDD? or are they all the same?
Could be or could be a corrupt install of Win, might try reinstalling, and yes an SSD would make thing much, much better, can pick up a 240GB SSD for about $50-60 bucks these days

Also could you link me to a bios update for my mobo? the ones I download do not have the actual file, this is what they contain. http://prntscr.com/cbjr6x
It doesn't have the file that I need to put on the usb to run.. and when I boot windows the bios doesn't appear anymore.. just a white dash in the top left then it goes away and boots windows.. any ideas.
Thank you, got it. But when i want to flash my bios I download the update and open the folder but do not see the 3rd file that is used to flash the bios I only see two..
