Hey everyone,
I bought a Dell P2414H LCD screen in february and now I noticed a really annoying problem on pixel/clock. Connection is DVI. Cable is 100% ok.
If I keep this image showing up for about 3 minutes it messes up my screen!!!
The screen starts to flicker as if I had changed the refresh rate from 60Hz to 20Hz or something...
It only backs to normal after 1 hour!!! It is really annoying since it is giving me weary eyes and a headache!!
It starts with small perceptible pulses like two per second.
As the image stays on display and the time goes by,the flickering goes 3, 4... 5, ... 20 (or so) pulses per second.
Finally after 3min of displaying the image it feels like my LCD srceen is now running on ~20Hz instead of 60Hz.
I switched to and old Samsung 24" LCD to check that it is indeed the LCD and nothing else.
In the samsung nothing happens. The DELL is messed up!!?
Lately I've realized that images with stripe patterns are making the LCD feels like It is running under 60hz and that is really annoying!!
Is it normal? Anybody else had a similar problem?
