Hello,
Does anyone know what happens to the Superchips program when the battery in my vehicle goes completely dead due to being in storage for months?

I have been unsuccessful in contacting superchips site is currently down,
Questions...

Did you have to physically change a chip? If so, your program
is burned on a EPROM and is not volatile.

Was the program installed with a Flash Programmer? The term flash
generally refers to Flash ROM ( such as your computers BIOS )
which is also a non volatile memory.

Looking as a technician, anybody with half the cerebral propensity of a
lobotomized amoeba would not store operating parameters in
volatile memory. Then I started thinking about Wall Street, AIG,
Government Motors, and people still getting their bonuses for complete
incompetence at our expense, you see my misgivings in assumptions.

Suggestions, if possible look for a battery “maintainer” this device
charges and discharges the battery on a schedule, idea being to
always maintain a level of chemical/electrical activity, the battery
will not “sulphate” and always maintain a volatile memory.

Add a can of Seafoam Fuel System Conditioner to the fuel,
the higher the ethanol the more important this step is.
½ to 1 Oz.of marvel mystery oil per gallon of fuel is
also good for happy valve guides, stems and cylinder walls
when it wakes up.
