I want to purchase the Supermicro X8DTG-QF motherboard because of it's great features. One mainly for the fact that it supports 4 double sized graphics card all running at a bandwidth of 16x plus an additional two pci-e slots 4x and two pci slots. However the motherboard's dimensions are proprietor so it is only built for the supermicro chasis- The SuperChassis 747TQ-R1400B case

I do not like the supermicro case and worst it is quite expensive as well and needs two redundant power supplies - which are usually very noisy. Does anyone know or tried any custom cases that are compatible with this great motherboard?

have you had any luck with this? I'm about to buy the same motherboard.
For the same reasons I was thinking of modifying the sharkoon rebel 12 case which is quite cheap or the lian-li pc-90.
