Hi guys, have no idea if I should be writing this here, but I have the model mentioned in subject,
when it's on, all the lights are on, and I hear a buzzing coming from the PSU.

Is it a goner?

Hi

They are about 20 years old so if it does not work get a new modern 100/1000 switch

I would not expect all the leds to be on if it was working properly
only the leds for each RJ45 port which is connected to a device and the power on led

You can still get the user guide from 3com or whoever took them over (HP in 2010)

Does someone even use those anymore. Many years ago the company I worked for had hundreds of them on a pallet. Best offer was from a scrap metal dealer.

Pretty much even when they were new units they were not actually repairable The power supplies (which is almost always what failed) are not replaceable and nobody bothered to try to repair them. They had lifetime warranty so you just called up 3com and got a replacement. 3com never repaired the units they were scrapped so there was no parts even sold. Of course "lifetime" pretty much was dead when 3com sold out.
