Hello TH Family!

I have following configuration and want to upgrade the RAM to 16GB. However, since my PC build is old, I am unable to find more modules of the installed RAM to simply increase it.

Can you help what will be supported with my config if I opt for new RAM modules from the currently available lot? Minimum available in the market are ones with 3200MHz.

Intel Core i7 7700K
Asus Z270 TUF Mark 1
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (4GB x 2)

One method is to go to Crucial.com and use their configurator to "sniff" your PC. It will spit out whatever Crucial RAM is compatible with your motherboard.

Or you should be able to enter your motherboard make and model at Crucial to get a list of compatible RAM.

You could then buy that RAM directly from Crucial or look for that exact model number (kit of 2 sticks) at your vendor.
