I like the improvements they have made to this device. As Windows 8 improves (big improvement already with 8.1) so will the availability of apps for this. Win8/RT are still relatively new systems.
 


I'm definitely not knocking the Surface down for pricing, compared to Apple's 128GB iPad 4 which is nearly $1,000, to have the 64GB Surface with a 64GB micro SXHD card for less than $400 is an absolute steal. And I'm not knocking the hardware either - Microsoft was very wise in choosing the Tegra 3 platform, it's worlds beyond the Apple A5/A7 platform in terms of what it can do. What really makes it frustrating is that you cannot use x86 apps, and even certain methods around using ARM only (which I won't mention here :lol: ) fail to work around the ARM platform. You're pretty much locked in from the minute you buy one. I like the Surface Pro - which does run x86 apps - but that is overpriced when you compare it to a fully functional laptop equivalent or a third party Windows 8 tablet.
