Surface Pro 3 Pen tips?

I have been trying for weeks to get a replacement tip for my surface pro 3 pen, and it is proving nigh on impossible. The Microsoft website is a shitshow, whether it be trying to order the replacement tip (which on various devices, leads to an error), trying to contact the support (the online support who never actually seem to be online), even the phone wait time is 1 hour +.

First of all I wanted to say F&#@ Microsoft.

Now thats out of my system, I can actually try and think properly. I just wanted to ask whether there was another place to get tips, bearing in mind that i'm in the UK, and can't get to a Microsoft store. There seems to be nothing on Amazon or Ebay, and I'm getting awfully worried that I'm going to have to fork out £50 for a new pen.

yea the only place these days to get obscure parts like that would be ebay which you mentioned you already checked so i doubt there is anywhere else you can repair a pen. my suggestion would be that since is is just a plastic stick go and see if you can find a cheap plastic pen for an ipad or android tablet and see if they work

The problem is that the pen connects by bluetooth, so I assume the plastic must conduct some sort of signal to the screen. This makes it a pain since the nib slowly bends with use, and subsequently requires replacing as it no longer works. I'll double check ebay quickly.
