Surveillance camera port. How do I find it?

I am using uniden's UDR-744 cameras, tablet and u-guard android app.
I want to use my own android viewing software. I have the IP and mac of the unit from the network settings on the provided tablet. I can view the IP from my router but no port settings.
How do I get this to be able to use a different surveillance software other than unidens?
I can not log into the cameras from within the network either because I don't know the settings.

If you don't know the settings, then it isn't your camera, is it?

I have other cameras that are port forwarded,etc.

This unit is self contained with the tablet and most likely don't want the buyer to use other software with it and their tech support have no answers. It is possible that these cameras either are not able to be logged into directly other than with their software or they don't want us to. I was looking for constructive help.
