Hello everyone, I recently shut off my computer after playing some Witcher 3 and turned it back on to find that all the fans were running, mobo was getting power, and GPU was running, but my computer wasn't booting. I am running:
Ryzen 5 1600x
GTX 1080 G1
1x 8G DDR4 RAM
MSI Gaming B350
I reseated the GPU, CPU, unplugged and plugged back in all the PSU cords, switch the power cord to the wall, and set the RAM into each slot. I've noticed that when I try to boot, none of my peripherals were receiving power (My keyboard and mouse were not lighting up, however my LED strip that is powered by USB is powered if I plug it in to one of my ports). None of the debug LEDs were lighting up on the motherboard.
I tried running a working PSU into my computer and ruled that out, I switched out the RAM for another stick in another computer and more of the same. I confirmed that my RAM still worked by using it on another PC as well. Attempted to use another working GPU.
I ultimately decided that I thought it was the motherboard and purchased another one, and received the Asus Rog Strix B350-F.
After setting everything back up on the new mobo, I had received the same error. However, on this new mobo, I am getting an amber debug LED on the 'DRAM' light. I double-checked that my ram (Corsair Vengeance LPX 8G DDR4) is on the compatibility list in the manual.
If anyone can give their thoughts on this it would be greatly appreciated!
