svchost.exe high cpu usage.

I normally do not have such a high cpu usage from svchost.exe, but now it eats up so much of my ram and probably makes my boot time so slow!

First thing to do is run a virus and spyware scan.

Good idea to boot off a rescue disk from an anti-virus company, Avira and AVG have free ones you can create and boot from to run the scan.

After that, install Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.org and run that.
