Hello everyone. Ive just signed up now as Im looking for some advice about my svchost issue.
Im not sure if other peoples svchost problems are similar (I suspect they are) I just cant do with this much longer.
The problem I have is my laptop is barely usable, anything I try to do gets the swirly circle or I get the pop up that whatever application Im trying to work with is not responding and I get options including forcing it to close which obviously is not my intent.
When I open task manager/processes I see svchost up at the top (I order mine be mem useage) but this isi the bit that does me, I have for example firefox using 600k top of the list and below that come svchost using 100k and my computer is ruined. Its using 00 or 01 cpu while firefox is using 15 to 22 and you would think between them they were using 100.
If svchost is on the list using around 60k my laptop is fine, no problems but as soon as it gets to 90k - 100k I can forget about using my laptop for anything and whats worse is, closing firefox doesnt help, and thats what its like when it isnt looking for or installing updates. Anyway, I feel like Im starting to rant a bit now, any insight into what might be happening will be very much appreciated.
