So basically my PC was working fine last night until today I went to switch it on, nothing happened. Mobo lights were still showing but no power or boot when I press button. So I tested with another PSU same thing, I took out the button header and tried starting with screw driver it didn't work. I replaced with my spare Mobo it worked.

The question I want to ask is. By replacing my motherboard with a new motherboard , same exact model Z270H. Will I need to be aware of anything , I know people have activation issues , I resolved that by retype my windows license key in and it is fine.

Do I realistically need to reinstall windows again or drivers?
Because it boots up fine right now.

Bios I gave it an update but is anything on motherboard I need to change?

THanks

If it boots up fine now and you haven't changed anything, you are probably fine. Typically issues come from when you change hardware and platforms as you carry over residual junk and drivers from the old hardware to the new.

If it is the same model, if it has worked fine now, then it should be fine.

But if you do per chance encounter any issues in the future, you may want to consider clean reinstalling Windows.
