As stated in the titles has would it be possible to swap my gtx 1080 ti (dell one) with a asus stric 1080ti cooler?

No. Extremely doubtful. The PCB on the STRIX is entirely custom, where as that dell version is either another custom design or uses the Nvidia reference design.

Either way, I doubt it. Highly doubt it'll work. You are better off going the NZXT Kraken G12 route which is designed for situations like you.

However be warned, I personally had issues with a kraken g12 on my 1080. Had to return it, but many others have had success with it on other cards.
