hi all, I recently installed a new motherboard, but that did not work out. so i switched back to my old motherboard and now my computer shows a blank screen. the computer is an hp p7 1245 and the bluelight is now orange. all the fans inside the computer are running, but the screen is black and the blue light on the computer front is now orange.

I was planning on bringing my computer to canadacomputers since i live in canada, but will they snoop through my infornation and/or purposely lie/damage to charge me even more? the intial diagnostic fee is $40.

thank you!

It's very easy to bend pins. Look up a youtube video about how to change intel CPUs to see how it's done properly.

P.S.: No offense to your friend (at all) but if he helped you with that specific aspect it's entirely possible it happened twice (didn't know he made the error the first time and made it again going back to the old motherboard.)
