Hey guys,
I have finally made the decision to upgrade my PC. My current set up is as follows:

AMD FX 4300 processor
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 (Micro ATX)
8GB Ram
GeForce GTX 1050
1TB HDD
EVGA 600W PSU

I have decided that I am going to install a new motherboard, processor and 16 GB of ram:

Ryzen 5 1600 6 Core
Gigabyte GA-AB350M- Gaming 3 AM4
Corsair Vengeance LPX

I am doing the build on my own, because I would like to further my knowledge on building and working on computers. My biggest concern is Windows 10, and how everything will transfer over with a new CPU and MB.

Any tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone for you help in advanced.

Thanks USAFRet,
I have a Windows 10 Recovery disk here. It says for use with Licensed Cyberpower PC on the disk. Will I still be able to use this disk? And will I be able to still use my current product key, or will I have to buy new?

Thank you!

*Update. I am sorry, I did not read the thread you posted in your original. I have linked my key with my MS account. Thank you.

For a preinstalled Win 10 OEM OS....you may have to buy a new one with the new motherboard.

Go through those 2 links above, and see it it allows you to link that existing license to your Microsoft account.

A preinstalled OEM Win 10 is about the only case where you cannot transfer the license to new hardware.
