Hi
Is it possible to switch the card inside a psu between 2 psu cases? Because I have a psu of 230W with a fan on the bottom and another psu of 500W but with a small fan on the back. Now is it possible to put the 500W card inside the psu case with the big fan? Because I need 500W but also the good cooling. Before buying another psu, is this possible?

Greets.

Solution
NO it is never a good idea to even open the PSU. There is very high voltage inside it even when it is unplugged. The capacitors can still have high voltage even when the unit is unplugged from the wall. There is alot more in a PSU than just a card and you can't take the parts out of one PSU and put them into a completely different make/model PSU.
