Win7 OS. I've been having trouble with my network for a while now, I've tried pretty much everything and the final conclusion I've come to is, that the current Network Adapter I'm using might be faulty. Every now and then I lose Internet connection due to the error "The default gateway is not available". I've switched routers and cables, but the problem persists. I want to switch from my Realtek Network Adapter to my Broadcom Network Adapter. How would I do that?
The Realtek is Local Area Connection, and Broadcom is Local Area Connection 2(Network Cable Unplugged). Even though by priority Local Area Connection 2(Broadcom) is on top of Realtek, my PC is still using Realtek.
This is what the Network Connections window looks like
