Hello,
So I often switch my primary display and audio between my monitor and television, depending if i want to game/movie on the couch or in front of my monitor. I was wondering if there was an easier way to switch the primary display so that the games open on the TV instead of the monitor without moving all of my desktop icons over as well. And I'm constantly switching my audio between my PC speakers to my TV, I know this is because my TV is plugged into the HDMI on my HD7950 and the speakers are in the on-board sound. Just want to know if there is an easier way to configure all of this! Thanks!

When you select screen number 2, you should be able to set it as the primary screen from windows.

It has been a while since I played with the AMD hotkeys, but I remember being able to set everything like primary screen and whatnot then save a hot key for it.

So maybe

TV only for videos
PC screen only for games
TV + PC screen with TV as primary - should push icons to the tv
TV + PC screen with PC screen as primary. - should push icons to the pc screen

Give them each a hotkey if you can?
You would be able to set a primary(so the icons will be on this display) display. If the desktop resolutions are the same, it would not require you to move icons around. This can be set in Windows or the CCC from AMD.

If you never use both at the same time and they are both on the same screen resolution, just use clone mode.

One more option is to use the swap among displays option to have only one screen active at a time(again, only good if you use only one screen at a time). Then you set a hotkey to deal with it.

You will still have to switch audio back and forth. You may be able to tell one card to record it self(listen option in the recording tab) and play back on the other card to get both to play the same thing with a slight delay, but it is 100% not worth it.

My monitor is 1680x1050 and my TV is 1360x768 so that sucks. And I often use them simultaneously when watching movies or whatever. I have tried the recording thing but yeah not worth it. Even if there was some sort of switch app or something on my desktop it would be more convenient than constantly going into the control panel and doing the adjustments. When I switch to my TV all the icons move but when I switch back to my monitor they stay on the tv so its annoying. I guess the easiest option is to set a hotkey to do the switch when i only want to use the tv....thanks
