Switching from AMD to NVIDIA GPU

What are the steps I should fallow when uninstalling the amd gpu and install the nvidia gpu, with drivers and stuff?

Uninstall AMD GPU drivers - Turn off PC and remove old AMD GPU - Install new Nvidia GPU - Boot and install Nvidia drivers.

I like to download the new drivers first. You need them anyways, might as well get them while the computer works. Then uninstall the old drivers. Be careful not to accidentally uninstall chipset drivers. If you have an AMD chipset on your motherboard and an AMD videocard, and you try a complete uninstall you might want to keep an eye on what is getting removed. Then you can shut down and install the new card. When you boot up again you'll already have the drivers ready to install. I like to run 3dmark after installing the new drivers. This is to check and make sure everything is working. You'll get a score which you can compare on their website to other people with your setup. As long as your score seems to be in the right range you'll know everything is okay.
