Switching from xp x32 to 8.1 x64

So you guys adviced me to switch to new os. I got new windows 8.1 x64 and installed it on my pc together with old os windpws xp x32. Just to check it if I like it. So I decided to give it a try but currently nothing works good from old os. And i decided to delete old windows xp and all instalations and drivers deleted with it like and my games and all stuff. But I cannot unistall it/format local disk. I want to delete all except drivers that I onstalled for w8.1 and os w8.1 and delete other stuff but I cannot. How to make it?

Hello... Windows does not allow it self to be deleted that easily... Delete partition - A clean install - start over - re-install is the fastest way.

Do you have XP on it's own hardrive? or both are installed on One hardisk?

Hi. Well I tried but I cannot. I tried to do it and still it ignored local disk d formated local disk where windows 8 was deleted all stuf and deleted its drivers while it didnt touch local disk with windows xp

Hello... You can use any Windows Install Disk to access Drive Tools and Partition access... it has to done at the DOS level, on the hardrive, to "clean delete" "clean Install" an OS install. B / Takes me 30 mins.... if I pre-downloaded all my hardware drivers.
