[SOLVED] switching out Intel 2500 HD integrated Graphics

Long story short I accidentally brought the wrong PC that I was looking at. So the one I bought has Intel 2500 HD integrated graphics, am I able to just Put a better graphics card in there, or will I have to replace the whole cpu as well?

You can install a discrete GPU that should be miles better than the integrated graphics.

What you should buy depends on the rest of your system and your budget.

You wouldn't have to replace the CPU, no. But make sure your power supply can support a more powerful GPU. Check the wattage on your power supply.

Depends on the system you purchased. If you have an available PCI-Ex16 expansion slot, then you should be able to install a discrete graphics card.
