SWTOR wont load on linux

I recently replaced my HDD on my laptop with an SSD and installed Linux Mint 17.1 64bit.

I followed all of the instructions on installing it but it just won't load. Game gets to the loading screen and freezes.

Anybody have any opinions?

1. Is it a Linux version of SW:TOR?

2. if not, did you install a Windows Virtual Machine on the Linux machine & install SW:TOR there?

If you didn't do #1 or #2, I wouldn't expect it to run. Linux <> Windows <> OS X, so unless you get the OS-specific version of an app you need a VM running to use it...& even then sometimes it can be hit-or-miss.

Well I have wine/wine tricks and PlayOnLinux, neither gets the game going. Its a windows only game but my other Linux laptop downloaded it perfectly fine and I gamed on that but my current laptop is much faster. Not sure what I did wrong. I followed the same websites instructions too
