When I turn off my SY-KT600 v.1, the light on the MS Optical Mouse stays
illuminated along with the "standby" button on the keyboard. I have turned
off everything in the BIOS that pertains to interupts and waking up the
computer from standby mode. Before I changed the BIOS setting the computer
would reboot with a mouse click. It won't reboot now from the keyboard or
mouse but the two lights still continue to stay on after the machine is
powered off. Do I have live with this or can it be changed?

That's normal operation; byproduct of the wake on keyboard feature.
Even if you have the option disabled in bios, power is still applied
to the keyboard and mouse. If you want to use the mouse to turn on the
unit again, go back in the bios and enable the wake on keyboard
setings.
