Question System always boots from HDD instead of SSD ?

Hi folks, I have a HP laptop that had a 128gb SSD msata, this was the boot drive. There is also a second HDD of 1tb sata.

I have upgrade the SSD to 540gb and cloned it from the 128gb SSD using Easeus.

Every time I try to boot from the new SSD when the existing 1tb HDD is installed, it fails to boot, says no boot device, it will boot fine if the 1tb HDD is removed.

I tried to do a fresh install of windows to the new SSD, and it still will not boot if both drives are connected. I am at a loss, any advice, please?

Sounds like you either cloned the OS to the wrong drive somehow, or there was a second Windows installed in the HDD from the start and the new SSD is borked for some reason...

Have you checked your Boot Priority settings in your BIOS?
