Reason for this post: Please read it all before trying to help, as I've tried everything I can find to resolve this myself!
This issue has been persistent on my system for over 3 months now, ever since I got an SSD for x-mas, and decided to clone then upgrade to Win 10, for Win 8. I completed this easily and everything was fine for a week or two, then my RAM usage flew upwards, the offending process, as noted above is "System and Compressed Memory". I realized it was a memory leak, I have tried fixing, nothing works besides using CleanMem to wipe the used memory(but this is pain because that is a manual process). The memory buildup is constant, but is worse when gaming, where it destroys frame-rates, and ping over time in games(TF2, and LoL mostly), and these issues temporarily resolve once I run CleanMem.

Steps I have tried so far to resolve the issue permanently:
I used this page to start. The simple fixes listed here didn't work.
1) I updated every driver provided to me on the OEM website.
2) I downloaded Windows Driver Kit(WDK) and ran Poolmon.exe to look for the specific processes there, but I couldn't the source of the offending tag that I found using this tool.
3) I undid all of the Win 10 settings that others had cited to cause this issue
4) I ran Malwarebytes, as I do every week or so, to check if there was a virus involved. The full scan comes up totally clean.
5) This is when I finally found CleanMem, which allowed me to manage the problem, but didn't solve it
6) I found another cited source as a registry value related to the paging pool size, I changed thsi as recommended but it didn't help
7) I gave up, and I just didn't have it in me to try anything else

Seriously, if anyone has any ideas for me to try I would be so thankful, this one the first times I haven't been able to solve a Windows issue on my own, and I'm lost. Your help is very appreciated, no matter how little!

Solution
1| It's never a good idea to migrate to a new system with a cloned image of your previous installation. Apparently Windows 10 is very finicky with how you set it up and how you continue to use it. Please reinstall your OS after you've created a bootable USB installer.

2| Did you disable automatic device driver updates feature?

3| The issue you've stated above is apparent when there is a corruption in your installation(which can happen when you're just using a cloned image of your previous installation as an overlay) though you could try and perform a repair install but it's very likely you're going to have to reinstall to rid yourself of the issue you created(no intention to offend you :) ).

Just FYI, it's also known as Memory leak and can encompass seeing high CPU, memory and HDD usage - all resulting from an installation corruption.

Solution

This solution 100% worked for me, the entire issue is solved and my entire computer is performing better! Thanks for the help. I discovered during the OS installation process that my drive had been divided into 4 random partitions, which are now all the on that they should be. I can finally play more than 10 minutes minutes of a game without having to tab out and clear my RAM.
