So the system I'm planning on building will have no dvd/bluray cd drives. I will temporarily use an external cd drive to install windows 7 professional 64bit. My question is how do i configure the bios so that the external cd drive boots first. Also after I'm done installing, how do i make sure that the ssd i installed windows onto boots first and that it doesnt try and boot the external cd drive i used to install windows since i will no longer be using it.

Solution
do not change anything in BIOS
Connect your external drive,Press F12 while booting, it will take you to boot disk selection menu,Select the external drive(this will be used only once) so next time you restart it will boot directly from your ssd
